La Blacktop Jazzmaster HS ha un single coil JazzMaster al manico e un potente humbucker al ponte (entrambi Duncan Designed) ed è dotata inoltre di dettagli come i potenziomentri da amplificatore, il tremolo Jazzmaster e un layout di controlli semplice ed efficace, con un selettore a tre posizioni.Corpo in ontano, manico in acero con tastiera in palissandro e curvatura da 9,5", 22 tasti Medium Jumbo, finitura lucida in poliestere e hardware cromato.
